Something to seriously think about! Getting tested for celiac disease if you have type 1 diabetes.

Diabetes goes hand in hand with way to many diseases if you ask me, it is important to see your doctors regular.

Type 1 vs Type 2

I find its hard for people to understand the difference between Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes and often wonder why they are not two different diseases. I found this article on the JDRF website which helps explain the differences.   http://www.jdrf.ca/news-and-media/fact-sheets/about-type-1-and-type-2-diabetes/?gclid=Cj0KEQjwgoKqBRDt_IfLr8y1iMUBEiQA8Ua7XXrDnIEfSHsM7KYLunut8GJ6w-KkvXoNSUpFwot6x7gaAnA88P8HAQ

Introduction

Hi my name is Justine Iannuzzi, I was diagnosed with Type One Diabetes when I was 19 years old, hard to believe 7 years ago I thought my life was over. Here I am today years later wondering where my path will take me. I have learned over the years not to take Diabetes personally, and started this blog today to help me remember my good days and reflect on the bad days to help myself and hopefully others to better manager diabetes.
